Rae Sremmurd is without a doubt one of the biggest Hip-Hop groups to enter the game in recent years. With the singles “No Flex Zone” & “No Type” reaching the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and their debut album SremmLife RIAA certifed platinum, it’s safe to say they are here to stay. Their energy, lifestyle, music, and performances are unlike any other, a testament to why they have achieved such huge success in a short period of time.

Although things may seem as if they happened overnight for the rap duo, Slim Jxmmi & Swae Lee had been working hard towards their vision long before they were introduced to the world. Growing up in the small town of Tupelo, Mississippi, there wasn’t much to do for kids of their age and style; rapping quickly became their main source of fun and creativity. In high school Swae & Jxmmi earned a reputation for throwing the wildest parties in town, often performing their music in the midst of the airs.
